Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, this role focuses on architecting and evolving backend systems, designing scalable APIs, and developing AI-assisted services within an innovative AI SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve backend systems using Scala, Play, Postgres, and AWS
- Design and deploy scalable APIs and AI-assisted services while owning feature development from ideation to production
- Develop and maintain agent-driven workflows and optimize performance across frontend and backend systems
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend systems knowledge (Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#)
- Proficient in JavaScript and React, with experience in building and scaling SaaS products
- Deep familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
- Experience designing systems rather than just implementing features
- Comfortable working across multi-session, agent-driven workflows
