Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of the Suwali platform, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will manage full-stack engineering tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues to understand user needs and translate broader goals into actionable plans
• Build and enhance features across the technology stack while maintaining a focus on usability and performance
• Own the development process from exploration and implementation through testing and deployment, utilizing feedback for continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails and React; Python experience is a plus
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend development with a focus on delivering maintainable code
• Experience in building and maintaining production applications
• Strong product judgment and the ability to balance user needs with technical quality
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in a remote team environment
