Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Software Engineer specializing in Accounting Integrations, who will lead the development and maintenance of scalable integration architectures using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, design robust REST APIs, and mentor junior engineers while resolving complex system issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable codebases for complex accounting integrations
- Diagnose and resolve critical issues, implementing preventative measures for accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with and mentor junior engineers, fostering best practices in advanced software engineering principles
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, with experience in mixed modern and legacy codebases
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions
- Proficiency in designing Webhooks, REST APIs, and handling retries/idempotency
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB/DocumentDB
- Practical experience using AI coding tools to accelerate development
