Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the development of applications and maintaining Rust SDKs, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on building secure, reliable native integrations across multiple platforms, working remotely within a collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve the shared Rust SDK, including language bindings and FFI for desktop and browser clients
- Interface with OS-level APIs on Windows, macOS, and Linux to ensure reliable native behavior
- Improve performance, reliability, security, and maintainability of native integrations handling sensitive credential data
Required qualifications
- 4-6+ years of strong production experience in Rust, including backend/systems development and FFI
- Experience with native desktop applications and direct interaction with OS-level APIs on Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Background in designing and versioning cross-platform SDKs or shared libraries
- Familiarity with AI tooling in development workflows, preferably Anthropic Claude
- Experience with Electron, TypeScript, and other web technologies for cross-platform applications is a plus
