Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer Full Stack Developer on a contract basis, this position focuses on developing and maintaining high-performance data tools for infrared sensor systems while leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle software development including requirements, architecture, coding, integration, testing, and maintenance
- Follow agile engineering practices (Scrum) and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams with minimal supervision
- Develop and maintain data tools for collection, processing, storage, and visualization
Required qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering and web development
- Strong background in Python and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, MongoDB, and NoSQL
- College-level math background including calculus, linear algebra, and statistics
