Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the live content creation experience, the temporary Senior Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on debugging and resolving complex issues, participating in on-call rotations, and delivering impactful bug fixes and features over a three-month assignment.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in on-call rotations, triaging and resolving production issues for live content creation surfaces
- Debug and fix complex web frontend and backend issues within the live content creation stack
- Implement reliability improvements and develop features to enhance platform stability and functionality
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong web development expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript and React
- Robust backend development experience, including building and debugging server-side services and APIs
- Extensive experience with production support and on-call duties in a high-traffic consumer product environment
