Job Summary
Leading the development of new software products and enhancements, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on backend Java coding for high-volume applications in a mostly remote environment, collaborating with a team of developers to tackle architectural challenges and critical situations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance large-scale, high-volume backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design and planning sessions held quarterly
- Support Android-specific development and contribute to fraud detection systems embedded across merchant websites
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience in Android development
- Proven track record in developing large-scale applications
- Background in fintech or trading is a strong plus
- Familiarity with non-relational databases, such as DynamoDB
