Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Distribution Tools team in a full-time remote capacity, where the candidate will implement new features, collaborate on software development, and mentor junior developers while working with technologies such as C#, .NET, and cloud APIs.
Key responsibilities
- Implement new functionality, bug fixes, and enhancements within the Distribution Tools platform
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and participate in peer reviews
- Collaborate with product management and other teams to deliver secure platform capabilities and mentor junior teammates
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development
- Familiarity with modern development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Desire to work on software used by utilities and energy infrastructure organizations
- Preferred experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
