Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Providing contractor support services for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), the full-time salaried Senior Software Engineer/Developer will focus on modernizing systems, developing applications, and ensuring the integration and testing of software solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide engineering expertise for the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions to enhance system performance
- Develop, maintain, and modify software applications in support of system modernization and user requirements
- Conduct quality assurance testing and implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard software applications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical major such as engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of work experience in modern software development, including proficiency in .NET, C#, and JavaScript
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and a strong understanding of security principles
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with cloud-native architectures and Infrastructure as Code
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAM Level I certification
