Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the architectural design and technical planning for major platforms, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to develop high-quality payment solutions, optimize complex code, and mentor junior engineers while serving as a subject matter expert in the payments domain.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and provide innovative software solutions for complex problems
- Write high-quality, production-level code and lead software engineering design reviews
- Collaborate with product managers and perform detailed code reviews to enhance team output and code quality
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- One year of post-baccalaureate experience as a software engineer in the finance field
- Proficiency in Java, Hibernate, Spring, Apache Struts, and Full-Stack Development
- Experience with Oracle database and High-Volume Transaction Processing
- Familiarity with data reporting and process automation
