Job Summary
To enhance Firefox's security features, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and test security mechanisms while working remotely from Belgium.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement security and hardening features for enterprise users
- Advance Firefox's security architecture across multiple operating systems by improving core security mechanisms
- Contribute to security initiatives by investigating issues and delivering maintainable fixes
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in low-level software engineering with strong proficiency in C and/or C++
- Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in multithreaded, cross-platform native applications
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and interest or experience in Rust
- Experience working with distributed teams and effectively communicating technical ideas
