Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance Firefox's security architecture, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and test security features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address security issues and improve browser performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement security and hardening features for enterprise users
- Contribute to advancements in Firefox's security architecture across multiple operating systems
- Investigate security issues and deliver robust, maintainable fixes while improving browser reliability and performance
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in low-level software engineering with strong proficiency in C and/or C++
- Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in multithreaded, cross-platform native applications
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and interest or experience in Rust
- Experience working with distributed teams and effectively communicating technical ideas
