Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer with extensive backend development expertise to build solutions for fleet payments and expense management, contributing to the Beyond Fuel and Expense Management initiative while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the technical architecture, design, and implementation of the Beyond Fuel and Expense Management platform
- Build full-stack capabilities, including user interfaces, backend services, and external integrations
- Establish standards for automated testing, API contracts, and secure development practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 6-8 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot or comparable backend technologies
- Experience designing REST APIs, distributed systems, and relational data models
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and automated CI/CD pipelines
