Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the revenue and contracts team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and manage backend services for the quote-to-cash process, ensuring billing correctness and collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from ambiguous finance or client-facing problems to production-ready designs
• Build and extend Go services for contract configuration, billable event generation, and claims submission
• Enhance the reconciliation framework to ensure billing accuracy across multiple data sources

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and operating backend services in Go or another statically typed language
• Experience with event-driven architectures and their associated challenges
• Strong SQL skills and experience working across application code and analytics layers
• Proven track record of managing systems where correctness impacts billing or regulated reporting
• Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably GCP
