Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the MAX Engineering team in a full-time remote position, focusing on backend development and maintenance of Go Lang features and services hosted in AWS while ensuring high reliability and performance of products.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain services using Go Lang, Postgres, and NoSQL databases
- Design and build scalable systems with a focus on reliability and performance
- Lead technical design and architecture decisions, ensuring best practices are established across multiple systems
Required qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience building SaaS web applications using Go Lang and Node.JS
- Strong experience with cloud services (AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficient in integrating third-party APIs and developing asynchronous data flows
- Expertise in SQL programming and data-layer development, including schema design and query optimization
