Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance the data infrastructure platform for object storage and computer backup products, focusing on automation, observability, and system stability.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and build automation frameworks for provisioning and managing fleet infrastructure
- Develop and extend the observability stack to monitor storage platform health
- Lead technical design discussions and implement large features across multiple services
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of backend development experience in an enterprise environment using object-oriented or systems languages (Java, Rust, C++, C#, Go, etc.)
- Experience designing automation frameworks or platforms for engineering teams
- Proficiency in building large-scale software systems operating on thousands of servers
- Strong Linux fundamentals and experience in bare-metal or hybrid environments
- Working knowledge of observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
