Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Cyberlife policy administration system, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement enhancements while collaborating in Agile ceremonies and building secure APIs for real-time data exchange.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements for the CyberLife platform
- Participate in Agile/Kanban ceremonies, gather requirements, and provide effort estimates
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance
Required qualifications
- Experience with life insurance policy administration platforms such as CyberLife or Life70
- Strong background in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM
- Proven experience in integrating legacy systems with modern technologies through APIs
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Experience in providing mentorship and technical guidance to fellow engineers
