Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of AI-native infrastructure platforms, the remote Senior Software Engineer will build interfaces and agent-driven capabilities that enable engineers to provision and manage services throughout their lifecycle while collaborating with teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver secure, efficient, and highly available frameworks that simplify infrastructure complexity and enhance existing systems
• Develop APIs and tools to streamline service management and provisioning for Airbnb engineers
• Debug production issues and improve the reliability and visibility of the systems owned by the team

Required qualifications

• A degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building developer platforms or infrastructure interfaces at large scale
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, cluster lifecycle, and public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong production debugging skills
