Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the growth of the Lit Network Inventory team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and automate software solutions for Zayo's Logical Network Inventory ecosystem, with a focus on APIs, system integrations, and data quality.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software solutions for the Logical Network Inventory ecosystem
- Create APIs and integration services for reliable network inventory data exchange between systems
- Implement automation for inventory management processes, including validation and reconciliation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of seven years of software engineering or application development experience
- Strong experience in Python and SQL, including complex relational data models
- Experience designing and supporting SOAP/REST APIs and system integrations
- Familiarity with telecommunications network inventory systems such as Netcracker or similar OSS platforms is preferred
