Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning complex and loosely defined projects, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement backend services and APIs for grading operations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and data models for internal applications used by grading and authentication teams
- Mentor other engineers through design and code reviews, promoting best practices in software development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs across both backend and frontend systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems and some frontend experience
- 5+ years of strong proficiency in C# and .NET
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and service integrations
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, including container orchestration and serverless computing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience writing automated tests for production services
