Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Joining the Web Data team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement scalable web crawling and data extraction systems, writing production-grade code in Java and Python while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement components of scalable, fault-tolerant web crawling and extraction pipelines
- Write clean, production-grade code and build ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data extraction
- Improve observability, reliability, and operational excellence across the systems
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python with strong software engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake
- Production experience on GCP (preferred) or AWS, with familiarity in Kubernetes
- Experience designing and operating large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines
