Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Web Data team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement scalable web crawling and data extraction systems, writing production code in Java and Python while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement components of scalable, fault-tolerant web crawling and extraction pipelines
- Build and operate ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data extraction and transformation
- Collaborate with product and data science teams to deliver impactful solutions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and distributed systems
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for distributed workloads
