Hands-on and technically adept, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and operate the application stack for Secrets Manager, focusing on writing, reviewing, and shipping code across various programming languages in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own features from specification through production, including design, testing, and deployment
- Review code and maintain engineering standards while collaborating with teammates on complex problems
- Ensure operational health and performance of services in production while designing resilient APIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating production software with a track record of substantial feature ownership
- Expertise in languages such as Rust, Go, and Python, along with tooling like Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with C#/.NET, TypeScript/Angular, and database implementations using Postgres, MySQL, and SQLite
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and zero-trust security architectures
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants in engineering tasks
