Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Joining the Workflows team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build distributed systems and RESTful APIs to enhance automation and manage complex data relationships in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed systems and RESTful APIs that handle high volumes of events
- Collaborate with the team to create impactful solutions for the claims engine
- Manage tasks and contribute to multiple initiatives during Agile sprints
Required qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
- 5+ years of full-stack web development experience, including API design
- Experience with relational databases, including schema design and query optimization
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and/or React is a plus
- Understanding of scalability challenges and server-side performance
