Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain applications across the full stack, focusing on developing features for a compliance management platform while promoting best engineering practices within an Agile team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver well-engineered, maintainable solutions for the compliance management platform on an Agile team
- Lead architectural discussions and design modular, extensible components that scale effectively
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and promoting team growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years with dynamic and/or compiled languages and front-end web development
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, MVC, and relational databases, with experience in performance optimization
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural decisions
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS or Microsoft Azure
