Job Summary
Joining a collaborative team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on enhancing agent tooling and infrastructure to support Etsy's customer service operations, working remotely with core hours aligned to 9-12 EST.
Key responsibilities
- Improve and maintain agent tooling and infrastructure for efficient support delivery
- Collaborate with design/UX stakeholders to define and drive project requirements
- Refactor and enhance existing code while developing new features to optimize performance
Required qualifications
- Proven experience with FrontEnd frameworks such as React or Angular
- Strong background as a full stack engineer, preferably with PHP expertise
- Demonstrated debugging skills and experience with legacy code
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers and Designers
- Interest in user experience and performance tuning of applications
