Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the developer experience within large monorepos, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will lead significant codebase changes, design agentic workflows, and improve build tooling while collaborating with product engineering teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute large-scale changes across the codebase, including framework upgrades and dependency updates
- Design and evolve agentic loops to enable AI agents to perform engineering tasks effectively
- Identify and resolve friction points in the developer workflow, enhancing build and CI performance
Required qualifications
- Significant experience (typically 7+ years) working with large, complex codebases
- Deep experience with application or platform frameworks and managing their evolution
- Proven track record of leading migrations or large refactors from planning through rollout
- Strong understanding of agentic loops and a willingness to evolve them as the field changes
- Ability to quickly navigate unfamiliar code and build trust with teams impacted by changes
