Job Summary
Building and extending the AI Gateway, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design APIs and SDKs, support internal users, and implement access control while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the AI Gateway with new model integrations, routing policies, and usage reporting
- Design self-service tooling for engineers to onboard to the gateway efficiently and securely
- Collaborate with security teams to implement access control and audit logging, ensuring service reliability
Required qualifications
- Solid experience as a backend or platform software engineer with a focus on APIs and distributed services
- Strong proficiency in a backend language such as Rust, Python, or TypeScript
- Working knowledge of LLM APIs, including authentication and rate limits
- Experience with observability, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes
- Ability to design well-documented APIs and incorporate internal customer feedback
