Job Summary
To support the Data Platform team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build scalable data infrastructure, focusing on data processing, discovery, and lineage, while working remotely or from one of the company's locations in Boston, Pittsburgh, or Las Vegas.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build next-generation data infrastructure and scalable backend services for data discovery and lineage systems
- Write high-quality, maintainable code to process large volumes of data and lead system design and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the adoption of the data lineage system and address user needs
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a data engineer or data pipeline engineer
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong development experience with Python and SQL
- Expertise with AWS services and solutions (EKS, Lambda, ETL)
- Experience with distributed system design and development
