Job Summary
Owning meaningful features and services across a cutting-edge AI platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance scalability and reliability in a remote environment while solving complex technical challenges in construction technology.
Key responsibilities
- Own features and services end to end across the Rails product app, Python ML/CV services, and data platform
- Improve the scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency of computer vision and LLM inference pipelines
- Contribute to architectural decisions, write design documentation, and mentor teammates as the engineering team grows
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building production software in fast-paced environments
- Strong experience in Rails or Python applications, production computer vision pipelines, or LLM/agent systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP) and PostgreSQL
- Experience owning features or services from technical design through deployment and operation
- Familiarity with SRE and DevOps practices, such as CI/CD and Kubernetes
