Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and optimize REST APIs and gRPC services for player registration and authentication, while also mentoring team members and collaborating with stakeholders across various business domains.
Key responsibilities
- Design, scale, and performance-tune APIs and services related to player registration, identity verification, and compliance
- Own complex technical problems, drafting proposals and presenting them to leadership for feedback
- Identify bottlenecks in production and implement changes to enhance platform scalability and reliability
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong foundation in data structures, distributed systems, and algorithms
- Experience with modern web frameworks and API development
- Proficiency in relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and operating services in a containerized environment
