Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and optimize REST APIs and gRPC services, manage complex technical problems, and mentor team members while ensuring high-quality software performance for player registration and compliance systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design, scale, and performance-tune REST APIs and gRPC services for player registration and identity verification
- Own complex technical problems, drafting proposals and presenting them to leadership and partner teams
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across teams to deliver best-in-class products and operational improvements
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong foundation in data structures, distributed systems, algorithms, and software design
- Experience with modern web frameworks and API development (e.g., Phoenix, Ruby on Rails, Node)
- Strong grasp of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, MFA)
