Job Summary
Leading the development of features for a client's marketplace purchase platform, the remote Senior Software Engineer will focus on payments infrastructure and transaction processing systems while designing scalable microservices and mentoring junior engineers on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of payment platform features using C# and ASP.NET Core/.NET Core
- Design and develop cloud-based microservices, preferably using AWS
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and provide technical mentoring to improve code quality
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with C# and ASP.NET/.NET Core
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architecture, preferably AWS
- Proficiency in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch
- Experience with Kafka or messaging technologies such as AWS SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
