Job Summary
As a key member of the core platform team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement platform subsystems for Stacklok Enterprise, focusing on production-grade software that operates within customer Kubernetes environments while working remotely from North America.
Key responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of platform subsystems from technical design through production and ongoing improvement
- Write production Go code for commercial software, ensuring reliability, observability, and error handling
- Collaborate with customers to operationalize the Enterprise Platform and integrate their feedback into product improvements
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in Go with experience designing and shipping production-grade distributed systems
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes in production environments
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and enhancing team quality through code reviews
- Experience working directly with customers to troubleshoot and debug products in their environments
- Familiarity with integrating AI tools into development practices to improve team efficiency
