Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a leading client in the financial services sector, the contract Senior Software Engineer will design and build secure, scalable backend services and APIs using Go and Java while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native services and APIs using Go and Java
• Contribute to system architecture and technical direction for distributed microservice platforms
• Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience
• Hands-on development experience with both Go and Java
• Experience building cloud-native applications using distributed architectures and microservices
• Experience designing well-structured APIs and applying software design patterns
• Experience applying secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
