Job Summary
To help architect and evolve an AI-native product, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and deploy scalable APIs, build frontend features using React, and optimize performance across systems while collaborating in a flexible, asynchronous environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and evolve backend systems using Scala, Play, Postgres, and AWS
- Own end-to-end feature development from ideation to production, including AI-assisted services
- Develop and maintain agent-driven development workflows to enhance code quality and velocity
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend skills (Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#)
- Proficient in JavaScript and React with experience in building and scaling SaaS products
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
- Experience in designing systems, not just implementing features
- Ability to work across multi-session, agent-driven workflows
