Job Summary
Focusing on simulation systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build tools for exploring hypothetical network scenarios, enabling users to evaluate network configurations and their potential effects in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build simulation and planning capabilities for exploring hypothetical network scenarios
- Enable users to vary network configurations, conditions, and assumptions and evaluate their potential effects
- Develop scalable, reliable systems for managing and evaluating complex scenarios
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Golang, C/C++, or Java
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing production software systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, algorithms, testing, and debugging
- Experience with distributed, data-intensive, computational, or other complex backend systems
