Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on technical leader, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will manage the ScreamingFace squad's technical architecture, ensuring reliable capabilities and user experience while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture for the ScreamingFace squad, aligning design, engineering, and deployment across the stack
- Drive production readiness through monitoring, error handling, and operational runbooks
- Establish and mentor the team on engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery to production
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on building and operating production systems
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and managing agentic workflows
- Strong proficiency in Python (3.12+) and experience with FastAPI services
- Experience in distributed systems and API design, including interface evolution
- Technical leadership experience, including mentoring and introducing quality practices to teams
