Job Summary
To enhance security for a global infrastructure system, the remote Senior Software Engineer, Proactive Security - Platform will design and operate secure access management and secret storage solutions while building self-service tooling for engineering teams across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate paved paths for privileged access and secrets management
- Develop self-service tooling and integrations for just-in-time access and dynamic secrets
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to integrate security solutions into existing systems
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Software, Infrastructure, or Security Platform Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field
- Strong software engineering skills in Go, Kotlin, Java, or Python
- Experience with access management and secret storage systems, such as PAM or HashiCorp Vault
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and identity/authentication standards
