Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on developing new product lines in runtimes, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to research potential products, produce critical security patches for various runtime technologies, and build automation systems for scaling product security.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop new NES products, creating supportable build pipelines from end-of-life codebases
• Maintain the NES portfolio by analyzing security fixes and backporting CVE patches in multiple programming languages
• Build and deliver packages across various Linux distributions while maintaining legacy code build environments

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of language runtimes and server software internals, such as Node.js, PHP, NGINX, or PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated ability to read and reason about low-level C and C++ code for security patch implementation
• Deep knowledge of Linux packaging and build tooling, including autotools, CMake, and distribution build systems
• Experience building and shipping software across multiple Linux distributions and versions
• Practical experience using LLMs to automate engineering tasks with sound judgment on automation reliability
