Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on maintaining a reliable C# and C++ codebase, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will investigate and resolve customer-reported issues, implement fixes, and enhance product stability in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate customer-reported bugs and regressions, capturing each in a failing test and shipping reliable fixes
• Maintain a large C# and C++ codebase across Windows, Linux, and macOS, ensuring builds, tests, and releases remain stable
• Collaborate with Support and other teams to reproduce complex issues and provide timely resolutions for customers

Required qualifications

• Proven experience solving complex problems in production C# or C++, including memory, threading, and performance issues
• Familiarity with AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or Codex, and a proactive approach to leveraging them in development
• Strong test-driven development skills, including writing failing tests before implementing fixes
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate unfamiliar codebases independently
• Clear written communication skills for effective collaboration in an asynchronous team environment
