Job Summary
To tackle complex technical challenges, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and evolve backend systems for the Organizer platform while working remotely and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own outcomes by engaging in the problem-solving process from discovery through deployment
- Evaluate architectural tradeoffs and recommend appropriate solutions based on technical judgment
- Mentor team members, share context, and improve engineering practices to raise overall team effectiveness
Required qualifications
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend software in production environments
- Strong understanding of software design principles and architectural tradeoffs
- Experience designing and maintaining APIs, distributed services, and data-intensive applications
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query performance
- Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership in team settings
