Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Software Development Engineer will design, build, and own backend services and APIs that simplify public cloud capabilities, transforming complex processes into self-service products for internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services and APIs for self-service cloud capabilities, including account provisioning and networking
- Transform recurring cloud tasks into automated products, ensuring safety and reliability
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather feedback and shape the platform's roadmap based on user needs
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend or platform services in production
- Proficiency in Golang or Python, with strong testing and debugging practices
- Experience with public cloud providers, especially AWS, and understanding of core cloud primitives
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipeline management
- Working knowledge of cloud security fundamentals in multi-account environments
