Job Summary
Owning the delivery of backend services, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build event-driven systems in Python and TypeScript, ensuring claims automation and system reliability while working remotely or from New York or Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver backend services from problem scoping to production operation
- Design and operate durable, event-driven, multi-tenant systems with a focus on failure modes and performance
- Manage tracing and audit processes for model calls and agent steps, ensuring data security and integrity
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on event-driven systems
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with experience in a systems language such as Rust, Go, Java, or C#
- Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and event-driven architectures
- Experience with data modeling across relational, document, and graph databases
- Familiarity with cloud architectures on Azure or AWS, including CI/CD practices
