Job Summary
Focusing on the development of back-end elements for various applications, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and test software solutions while acting as a technical mentor and participating in Agile/Scrum processes in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test back-end elements of applications, including on-console UI and mobile app(s)
- Architect web and application solutions and integrate them with existing systems
- Support front-end engineers and participate in Agile/Scrum team activities, including acting as Scrum Master or Product Owner
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial software development with a focus on back-end applications
- Strong knowledge of web development standards and multiple JavaScript frameworks, such as React and Angular
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with source control
- Familiarity with Python programming and embedded systems is a plus
