Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will develop, test, deploy, and maintain software while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with a dynamic team to enhance production applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently develop and redesign products to meet customer and associate needs
• Participate in product and tool selection, configuration, and production monitoring while providing guidance to less experienced engineers
• Implement testing strategies and maintain software performance, ensuring rapid deployment and resilience under high traffic conditions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in multi-cloud reliability strategies, particularly in GCP and Azure environments
• Experience with chaos engineering practices in distributed microservices environments using Kubernetes
• Proficiency in developing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong background in modern software development practices, including object-oriented programming and frontend technologies
