Job Summary
To support a premier property technology innovator, the remote Senior Software Engineer will architect and develop robust controller firmware primarily in Go for embedded Linux environments, focusing on smart entry devices and IoT connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and write firmware for embedded systems, integrating hardware components and ensuring device-to-cloud communication
- Develop secure credential flows using Bluetooth Low Energy and RFID/NFC technologies for mobile and card access
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish scalable APIs and diagnose field issues to enhance device reliability
Required qualifications
- 5 or more years of professional software development experience
- Deep expertise in Go or another systems programming language (C, C++, or Rust) with a strong grasp of concurrency
- Proven experience building software for embedded Linux devices or constrained ARM targets
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as GPIO, I2C, SPI, or serial connections
- Daily practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools for software development
