Job Summary
Building secure, reliable desktop experiences, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on TypeScript and Electron development for desktop native features while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain TypeScript/Electron components for features like Autotype and the SSH agent
- Develop end-to-end desktop workflows across Angular/TypeScript UI, Electron main and preload processes, and Node.js integrations
- Collaborate with Rust engineers to integrate native modules and ensure secure handling of sensitive credential data
Required qualifications
- 4-6+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong production TypeScript/JavaScript skills
- Hands-on experience developing Electron desktop applications, including main and renderer processes
- Experience with Angular or a comparable modern front-end framework
- Strong understanding of Node.js and secure handling of sensitive data across process boundaries
- Experience testing, debugging, and shipping applications across Windows, macOS, and Linux
