Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain highly available distributed systems for retail e-commerce platforms while focusing on automation, incident resolution, and system performance monitoring.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain fault-tolerant distributed systems with high throughput and low latency for e-commerce platforms
- Participate in incident triage and resolution as a subject matter expert, while developing solutions for automation and toil reduction
- Monitor system performance against KPIs and regularly assess production system readiness, mentoring junior engineers in modern software development practices
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in cloud computing technologies such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with automation tools including CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
- Familiarity with observability tooling like Grafana and Prometheus
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and Golang
