Job Summary
To support platform modernization efforts, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect and deliver Java-based microservices while driving legacy system refactoring and cloud migration in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the architecture, design, and implementation of Java and Spring Boot microservices across the platform
- Lead the decomposition of legacy monolith functionality into independently deployable Java services
- Establish engineering standards for unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with deep experience in distributed systems
- Demonstrated experience decomposing monolithic applications into microservices
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, SQS, and Lambda
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
